Wash and dry hands thoroughly before handling lenses.  Keep water (even boiled) away from the lenses at all times.  No sleeping, showering, swimming, hot tubs, saunas or steam rooms whilst wearing lenses.  Any redness or discomfort then remove lenses and seek professional advice.  Dial 111 or attend A&E in an emergency.  Build up WT's 3+3 to 12-15 hours.

When wearing CL's, only use drops suitable for contact lenses. Wash and dry hands thoroughly before handling lenses.  Keep water (even boiled) away from the lenses at all times.  No sleeping, showering, swimming, hot tubs, saunas or steam rooms whilst wearing lenses.  Any redness or discomfort then remove lenses and seek professional advice.  Build up WT's 3+3 to 12-15 hours.

Monthlies 111

Please note - the clinic can be very busy, depending on demand, and because patients are seen on the basis of their medical priority, rather than purely their appointment time, it sometimes means that appointment times run late and that waiting times vary.

There is no charge to park on Singleton site, but space is limited.

There is a 4-hour time limit on the patient and visitor car park on Singleton site which was introduced to help eliminate unauthorised car parking. This time limit can be extended for patients by entering the vehicle registration on one of the tablets in the main entrances to the hospital.
